That might be! That's the exact sort of thing I need sanity checked.
I've been poking through K5BCQ's website, and while he has the schematics
I cannot find the coil tables. Doesn't mean they aren't there, just that
I haven't found them yet. What I have is the radio, a bunch of mostly
unmarked coils, and a lot of the coils are missing their trimmer caps
and some are missing their windings. The 40M ones seemed to be clearly
marked so that's where I started!
The dial on the front of this 50-year-old radio is hand marked, and
both the 80M and 40M notations indicate that it tunes the same way
on both bands. But I could be wrong! And of course if the tuning cap
is off by 180 degrees, then I could be wrong on both of them!
