I bet it goes for around $350-$450 .....some of the prices are just wild,
but it's definitely an original one. A real find would be one from the
magazine articles. An Ameco AC-1 just went to $400 (that's a cheap one
tube 6V6 CW Tx kit), which got the Ameco AC-1 group all excited. I'm glad
I was involved in the Ameglo GB-1 kit/decal for people to build a look
alike for a fraction of that. Another nice low end military unit is the
BC-1306 or GRC-9 but those are going for $250-$500 (BC-1306 at the high
end) . An then there is the Knight Ocean Hopper. I guess it's an example
of the baby boomers with money wanting to get what they used to have "in
the beginning".
There certainly are some excellent examples of old and new homebrew out
there. Great !!
