Walt,
Good Show. It sounds like a winner. My HBR-11 ate it's output xfmr, so
that'll be a project pretty soon. I just fixed one of those Ya-Hoo ATAS-100
antennas that I got at a 'fest, built a control-box, and will run it with my
(horrors) IC-706 MKII/G in the mobile (just not enough room for the SX-62A,
you see). The bands have been el' stinko lately, so have been puttering
about with some old Heathkit test gear (given to me), along with one of
Faust Gonsett's (yep, that's how ya' spell his name!) ORIGINAL converters
for 75m. It's NOT a tri-bander like many of them, but works fairly well
with some 6vac for the filaments and about 145vdc for the plates. What fun
to listen to 75m "phone" on an All American Five!
