Some of my coils were wound by the original builder (HBR-11) and were loose,
but mine were done by the "pull the wire from a doorknob" method (works
great for years). I have noticed that the new DUCO cement is total crap...
absolute garbage which never seemed to get hard (tried 3 different
supplies)... so finally resecured the caps in the top of the coil forms, by
RETREATING the original DUCO with PLY-O-BOND by GC electronics (if you can
find it). Compatability was great, and the coils are like new again. Ted
Crosby advocated spacing the APC variables with toothpicks in "HBR Notes"
