Yes, some of us had/have several HBR-16s. I know since I started this HBR
reflector I've owned 1 HBR-14 (sold it to a member), 3 HBR-16s (have 2
left and may sell one of them), 1 partially done HBR-11 (want to keep
it), and I've seen quite a few for sale at swapfests, ebay, or on other
reflectors .....and, of course, the new ones being built today. It is
really amazing how many are still out there and I assume if someone built
one in the 60s and spent hours and hours on it, --that-- rig is probably
one not parted out or thrown out ....so expect it to surface sooner or
later.
The "WTB" sometimes gets results too and remember, many people out there
don't know what they look like and will describe what they have in
"unique ways"......."Old Transmitter", "Hammarlund? Receiver", "HBR-18"
(someone added the select-o-ject), etc. Some of you have probably seen it
described in even more humorous terms.
The interest seems to be growing as more baby boomers retire and are
looking for a hobby.

As John mentioned, they do come up on Ebay from time to time so keep an
eye open for them. I bought one from there earlier this summer so they
are there. Another thing is to post a definite "I WANT TO BUY AN HBR-16"
or whatever version to this list to signal your intent to buy one. This
may pry one loose from an HBR listmember, perhaps provide a lead on one
for sale, as well as keeping your HBR search in mind in case we find one
up on Ebay and can let you know. Post a WTB on other boat anchor lists
as well. Myself, I have an HBR-13C and an HBR-16. Good luck. 73, Scott
