Okay, it seems to be installed. I can draw lines and there are no error
messages when it starts up. The library of parts seems to be there too but
I haven't a clue how you get them into the drawing. Can anyone point me in
the right direction? Usually there's some sort of on-screen catalog from
which you can click or drag what you want.

For comparison I also have designworks lite installed and as long as it prints
in black on white, I can deal with it drawing the screen in other colors.
Everything there seems to work. However the library uses modern symbols,
invented, I suspect, because modern engineers never learned to draw the
older ones. So getting going with that means at least doing the resistor
over correctly. Does anyone know how to delete unwanted parts of the
library? There are hundreds of ICs and such that you have to scroll
through.

If I wanted 'modern' I'd buy it at Wal-Mart, $39.98 (Price Rollback!) from
Bangladesh.

Thanks for all the help so far, guys! Looks like I will get a working tube
schematic drawing program out of this!
