QST for October 1961 - Sectionalized Communications Receiver
W2LYH was a master homebrewer. Also a top drawer operator. One of my Elmers
even though I never met him, and only worked him a few times.
His other construction articles are worth a look, too (all from QST):
August 1947 H&K - Grid Dip Oscillator
Oct 1949 H&K - Source for Low Drift Capacitors
June 1959 - Crystal Controlled Converters (20/15/10)
Jan 1960 - Complete Break-In Unit for CW
Aug 1971 - 3 to 4 Mc Franklin VFO
He made the cover of Electric Radio and may have had an article or two in
that mag. My article in Electric Radio (July 1995) tells how I got to meet him on
the air after 30+ years of reading his articles.
More to come but I'm outa time.
