[HBR] RE: HBR-16 / Eddystone Dial Calibration?

"One must consider however, that back in '64 and such... as a Novice, we 
were xtal controlled, and if using some of the OLDER Texas xtals, or 
grinding your own on a piece of glass with some Bon Ami... you needed to 
know where the BOTTOM of YOUR band was... thus the calibrator. 7.100 was 
the bottom (I think - can't recall if it was 7.150 or 7.100 now). These 
daze [sic], we have receivers/transceivers that are more exactly on 
freq. than those earlier frequency STANDARDS were."

Folks, if anyone would like some of them, I have calibrator crystals for 
7000, 7100, 7200 and 7300 kHz.
They are in FT243 holders. Write me off the list if you can use some of 
these.

Also, I am looking for an Eddystone dial.
