Neither the HB-67 nor its predecessor HB-65 were ever in QST. They were 
designed-for-the-Handbook projects, rumored to have been the work of By Goodman, 
W1DX.

My '67 Handbook, bought new, was one of the very first radio books I ever 
owned. Still have it, tho' it's falling to pieces. Can't begin to tell you how 
much time I spent studying it and the '49 Handbook I had before the '67. Ah, 
memories of a wild youth....
