Open to ideas and suggestions.......

Since the Eddystone 898 dials are expensive, difficult to locate,
and too large for the smaller HBR-11, it would be nice to come
up with an inexpensive, useable, and easy to build slide rule dial
adaptable to both an existing HBR-16 or HBR-11.

The dual Jackson Bros verniers are excellent, so the knob to tuning
capacitor drive is solutioned at 36:1. The only hangup is capacitor
shaft to a slide rule indicator. Maybe using a dial cord driven off a
pulley on the capacitor shaft. I want something which can be
retrofitted onto the older HBRs without having to resort to the
elevated subchassis used for the 898 dial. Also something which
could be scaled down to "look right" on a smaller HBR-11/12.
