Will swap in some new filters (will need to disassemble the can and
stuff it with new "innerds") and see how that goes. Apart from the ripple,
its seems to hear well and it's amazingly stable. There seems to be some
points of oscillation depending on where the gain controls are set, but I
suspect cinching things down so that grounds are as they should be will
help that. The thing is also full of black beauties which I'll replace as
well.
Sure was neat to hear it come up for the first time. From the date codes
on the parts, it was built in 1963, so it's coming up on its 40th B'day!
