Today I took my HT to Platte River State Park and climbed the observation tower. With no extra gear, and only a 9.6v battery and a rubber duck antenna, I was able to hit the K0USA repeater in Omaha. I made a contact with someone in Bellevue off the repeater. It's not quite DX, but it's my longest contact on 2m so far. -= Sean Edwards =- KD0QQZ
