[HBQRP] Your thoughts?

I am considering this kit.

Am basically looking for a reasonably easy and inexpensive kit to get a
signal out that might allow me to communicate with SOMEONE :-) (First
rig.)  Other than usual QRP considerations related to antenna
effectiveness etc., do you have any thoughts pro/con about this rig? I
like the VFO and RIT for three bands. Based on the specs I have found,
the RX is something of a pig in a poke.
