Subject: [HBQRP] O'scopes for Febr. meeting
Hi Group,
I was reading about the upcoming meeting were we were going to talk about O'scopes and
thought that I would ask if there was a need to bring some of our own for show and tell..
I could bring one or two along. I have a Rigol digital scope, and an older Tektronix 2246 scope.
If someone wants to play, I think I have a BK precision function generator or two laying around
that we could feed some sine, square and triangle waves up to about 2 Mhz into scopes to
play around with measuring different voltages and freq.
While surfin the net, I found a cool page that I had book marked a couple of years ago that
might be of interest to the group. This is a page from Paul - NA5N's web site.
http://www.aoc.nrao.edu/~pharden/hobby/Hobby.shtml
Down the page a bit, under tutorials, after the stuff about the class D,E and F amps there is a couple
of links to tutorials on O'scopes. They make for good reading...
Also, just an FYI: if you get the QRP Quarterly publication, the Fall 2013 issue has a couple of pages on
Ardruino boards and some programming.
