FYI :  Feed for thought! 
I thought that the group might be interested in this web site.  They are supposed to be working on some IR solar cells... which this site is saying would work for a generator something like a fuel cell... but instead of having to have very special fuel,  this one could use just about anythingthat would burn could be used to make electric power..   something that might be kind of cool for the QRP'ers out in the wilderness some day..
