[HBQRP] OK - Official Announcement.

July 11th will be the official beginning of what will be called (for
now) 

The Midwest HomeBrewers 1DIJ operating Event (1DIJ stands one day in
July) 

This event is intended to coincide with the LobsterCon operating event
which they call 4DIJ.

We might be on the air all day.

We will start like every group get together with lunch at 11:00 at the
Pizza place

Soon as lunch is done, we will go to the Ashland Park and set up and
operate for the rest of the day

Plan on a pot luck supper (you should bring a dish to share and your own
hot dogs or hamburgers this year) 

And then station breakdown at sunset.

 

If you have an awning or some shade thing, better bring it, but no tents
(not a camping site) OK

I believe there is also another QRP event going on, on the West Coast
also. I will find out from Tex what it is.

If you have fleas, bring them, tailgate them. 

 

If you want to come before lunch, better contact me or Brian or Darrel
so we can make sure it is ok.

Volunteers are welcome to help coordinate this event. The pay is great,
twice what we normally get :-)

 

There will be more information soon. 

 

There will be a couple of door(?) Prizes.
