The local QRP group, Midwest Home Brewers and QRP Group will have their
yearly 'Lark in the Park' this Saturday, June 13th at the little
community park just east of downtown Ashland NE. The group will meet at
the Bordeaux Pizza place for a quick bite to eat and then move out to
the park to play with QRP rigs, fancy QRP antenna tuners and antennas
and generally have a good time.

Anyone even slightly interested in QRP is welcome to come along and join
in the fun. Even if you think QRP folks are crazy (and some of us are!)
why don't you come out and see how much fun we have. You might be
surprised at how far our little signals can go. Lots of us will be
running 'full power', that's 5 watts on CW and 10 watts on SSB.

We have great fun building our fancy little rigs and even more fun
getting them on the air. Please come and join us for a fun filled couple
of hours. Just follow I-80 west from Omaha to the SAC museum exit and go
north until you run into Ashland. From Lincoln, go east on I-80, or
come out highway 6.

The Pizza place in right in the middle of down town Ashland. If you get
lost, just give us a yell on 145.310 (-) and we will get you there.

Have a good weekend everyone

Dar...
