Hi Group,

Thought I would forward this note from Chuck that was on the QRP-L E-list as he has some interesting projects and stuff with SMT that might be fun to build if one is interested in making thru-hole stuff over into SMT stuff!

QRP folks,

Updated, again, the web page for the SMT Project

http://www.w5usj.com/surfacemount.html

Made some minor revisions to the page layout and content.

Downloadable 1x contact artwork for all 5 PCBs at the beginning of the page.

Documentation is now on line for:

SMT TT2 Transmitter -- a miniature version of the QRPme TTT2; same power
SMT PK-DC Keyer -- features and functions similar to the RMK for the "Mites
SMT MRX-40 Receiver -- a miniature version of the MRX-40 found in QST
SMT T/R Switch -- miniaturized version of the T/R switch from the TxTopper amp
and last but not least the first one
SMT RFProbe -- neat SM version of the "classic" RF Probe from the "Handbook"

The SMT MRX-40 and SMT T/R Switch are not yet built and tested. But I have
every confidence that they will work as expected...8^)

Parts on order PCBs to be made soon. Pictures to be posted shortly after.

SMT TT2 and PK-DC Keyer in beacon mode for 12 hours this past weekend.

This is fun stuff...
