Hi Group!
Thought that I would pass along this info on a new minimalist radio
enthusiasts group that is forming on the Yahoo groups..
What are Minimalist QRP Transceivers? These transceivers goes by many names. Pixie, Pixie II, Tixie, Flea, Tornado, Peanut, Rixpix, other slightly more then minimalistic are SST, Rock-Mite... there are more and they will be added. What is similar about all of these transceivers is that people say that they should not work. But when they do work it is AMAZING! So here we are. This is a group about these transceivers. About the antennas, about the modifications and there are many.
Its all about low parts count rigs that can be built with only a few
active devices.

Also, I found an interesting web site called QRPedia. Its located at
http://www.qrpedia.com/
Check out some of the workbench hints and kinks for some interesting ideas!
Also this site has lots of links to pages with info for builders, software, and radio circuits..
