I don't know how many of you might subscribe to the 'Pixie2' group, but just in case. Some of these folks have been playing with the SDR (Software Defined Radio) software and using it with other rigs. Here is a guy who used it with his Pixie, look at his results. Nice!!
I will be testing this over the weekend just to see. :)

While Rocky software was developed for software defined radio kits,
it turns out that you can use it with a Pixie and it seems to improve
selectivity. You see the CW signals first on the waterfall display
then click to isolate for listening. Digipan works the same way.
Any body else experimenting with using the filtering capabilities of
these software packages for Pixie and similar radios?

I just downloaded Hamscope from qsl.net last night and it works
well with my homebrewed Pixie2. The waterfall display mode is
better than I would have guessed as it displays and reads signals
that I can't even hear in my headset. Had at least 6 cw signals
within the audio passband of my 7.045 xtal and was able to isolate
and read each one with a mouse click. Not perfect letter for letter
copy but good enough for me to keep messing with it. Does anyone
know if the width of the band pass filter can be adjusted? Looks
to be 500hz wide as a default.

73 and good qrp to all, Mark wa4jat
