An HBQRP Field Day for next year sounds like fun. Plenty of time to plan for
it too.

A few of us gathered here in Lincoln at a local park on Sat. afternoon and
had a good time.
40,20,15 and 6 meters were in operation from time to time with a mix of cw
and phone. 2 FT-817's, 1 K-1, HW-9 and a PRC-74.
1 G5RV, 2 various loops for 20, a PAC 12 and a 3 band trap vertical rounded
out the antenna setup.
Operators were WB0QQT, N0XY, K0NG, KGOGY, KF6WHK, N0DEX, KG0LD. A few others
stopped by to visit but not operate.
We started setting up around noon and and operated to about 7:30 PM.
Contacts were not the most numerous but we really didn't have a competetive
spirit as we just wanted to have some fun which we certainly did.

And the best part for me was ...............NO CHIGGARS !!!!! Thank you
Deep Woods OFF !!!

Dar.....I'll see if I can get you some pictures to post.

Steve/WB0QQT........the chiggar free ham !
