I am at the opposite end of the spectrum.  I operate about 75% SSB,
20% digital (PSK31, RTTY, etc) and 5% CW. Why? Simple my CW skills
are poor and not for a lack of practice. Its a skill that requires
some amount of talent. I just don't have that talent. Its like
playing the violin. There are virtuosos and there those who play
pretty well. Then there are those who make noises that remind us of
dying cats!

So if you hear a weak CW signal that reminds you of a dying cat, it
was probably me.
