Hi All...
Steve asks a good question... but I don't have a good answer, so I thought I
would poll the group.
I'm not sure how may people are building along with me and the Elmer 101
material, and how may went ahead and just built their SW?0+. I want to give
everyone who is building using the Elmer 101 material a chance to get caught
up.
So... If you are building along, send me an e-mail and let me know how far
along you are and how fast you want to go.
In the mean time, if you have finished the power supply section, you might
want to build an RF probe (if you don't have one.) I used to refer people
to the ARRL handbook for a design. My 1988 and 2000 handbooks have the
section, but my new 2005 one does not. Here are some good internet sources
for a design. (Or just type RF Probe into Google)

I bought a NorCal RF Probe kit a couple of years ago someplace, and found it
when I was looking for SW+ cases, so am working on building it.

Anyway..........should we press on with the VFO next or wait until everyone
completes the power supply ??? I'm in no hurry as I want to learn how this
really works.
Comments or suggestions ????
