[HBQRP] NOTICE - Store Closing

Two answers..
One - yes Frank is still there but you should call first if you plan to stop because his hours are a little flexible, he is in his 80's by now (I'm sure). He is still an Icom dealer but prices are steep.
Two - Omaha Electronics has been there since 1957.

Is the key ready for production yet?

Wasn't aware of that store being in business. Is Frank Ladd's place on 42nd
St. still open ???
Haven't been there in years. Think he used to be an Icom dealer.

I am sad to report that Omaha Electronics (located in Omaha, on 2222
Leavenworth St) will be closing its doors within the next week or so.
There is a going out of business sale going on there now with goodies
from 20% to 50% off. He has several Ramsey QRP kits still on the shelf.
I for one will be sad to see Doug and the store go away. Not only was it
a good place to get component parts, but it was a fun place to stop,
have a cup of coffee and just chat.
We wish them well.
