Well, we have 2 or 3 members with completed radio's
Steve, Jim and Joe, I know of for sure. No report on how Darrel is doing on his multi-rig build. Mine will be done this weekend.
Brian (KM0Y) and I participated in the Polar Bear event on Saturday, Brian made 5 contacts and I made 2. I had a little rig trouble, the 703 did not like the manual key and kept locking up. Did the same thing when I got it home but when I switched back to the internal keyer, it seemed to be ok. Strange.
I think Brian and I will try to operate the next Polar Bear event (January) from Neale Woods. We wanted a location in Nebraska. Anyway, start thinking about coming along next time and putting another station or to on the air from Nebraska. I know of at least 3 folks who have either a 30 or 40 meter newly built rig who could come along :) If you have any questions, just contact Brian or I..
73's all and Merry Christmas and/or Happy Holidays to you and yours!!

Small world Jim. I finished mine last night but haven't powered it up for
alignment, output setting etc. Need to put it in an enclosure yet and wire
up all the jacks, pots etc.
Wondering how everyone else is doing ????
