Good morning,

> It DOES make one wonder where everyone went... If not here, then where???

I haven't heard from this list for so long that I forgot that I was
subscribed to it.

Most of the on-line satellite activity seems to hang around the amsat-bb,
Facebook (AMSAT-NA, AMSAT-UK, AMSAT-DL, AMSAT-LU, and ARISS are on there)
and Twitter with the same AMSAT organizations are on there. AMSAT Twitter
has 7000+ subscribers, AMSAT-NA facebook has 2500+ people following it.

> As for sat work, I haven't done anything since PCSat went down.

Satellite digipeating is still active on 145.825. Until about the beginning
of this year I used to occasionally get digipeated via PCSat when it was in
daylight. But that doesn't seem to work anymore.

PCSat was replaced by NO-84 and is also on 145.825. It's downlink is a bit
weaker since it is a cubesat but it still digipeats well. The path is
UNPROTO CQ VIA ARISS. The main mission of NO-84 is PSK-31 uplink on 28.120
MHz downlink on 435.350 MHz. You can tell if the 145.825 digipeater is on by
checking the telemetry at http://www1.findu.com/cgi-bin/pcsat.cgi If it
says APOFF the digipeater is not working but PSK-31 is operating. See
http://aprs.org/psat.html for the full info on the "new" PCSat.

ISS packet is usually active on 145.825. None the crew members have used it
for FM Voice on 145.800 for a couple of years except for school contacts.
Once or twice a year there is SSTV on 145.800. Those are announced on the
AMSAT forums previously mentioned.
