So far I've been at it for about 2 full days, this radio was way out and it's taken quite a bit of time to mostly get it receiving well and sounding good. I followed the manual that Les posted here yesterday and it was easy to follow and worked well for this radio. I say "mostly"; because the 15-30 MHz band is weak and was when I got it, it is aligned correctly so not sure what's wrong there, and I can't get two peaks with the antenna trimmer for the 2. 05 to 4. 04 band either on the high end but it is performing well anyway and I'll probably just have to keep trying to get that band better. I had to go back and forth many times on a few of the bands including that one but will keep at it, I have it out of the case on my bedroom floor and will keep it there until I'm satisfied, (wife is away). My VTVM walked away during a move and I was using a DMM for this and finally ended up keeping the AVC on and using the signal strength meter along with the multimeter. Much quicker with an analog meter. I guess I'm going to have to break down and buy another 410-B. Another thing that helps is keeping the audio on as it gets dead silent when it's tuned to the generator signal.
