[Hammarlund] hq-145a specification

I don't know and couldn't find any specs but did fine a good
PDF version of the instruction book including an insert for the
fixed frequency crystal local oscillator. Its at:
http://www.jamminpower.com/PDF/HQ-145.pdf
Much easier to read than the Deja Vu version on BAMA.
If you think there are problems with performance I suggest
you ask here. Meanwhile I am looking for something with actual
performance specs similar to the production notes book from
National which is on BAMA.
BTW, I am in the midst of working on an HQ-129-X. I have had
this receiver for several years but need to fix some problems.
Once I get them fixed I will post here for others who may have
the same ones.
It is essentially a very nice receiver but has some puzzles,
for instance, why did Hammarlund decide on the inside out dials?
I call them that because the low frequency band is on the outside
and the highest frequency band on the inside, just the reverse of
most receivers and just the reverse of what you want to get the
best calibration resolution. HQ-120-X is the same. I don't know
about later receivers in this line like the HQ-140-X.
