[Hammarlund] Hammarlund Restoration & Noise Level

I'm aware of the lousy propagation & sunspot cycle. We're not in a Maunder
Minimum but I surely long for the days when the bands were hotter. I've
been hamming since 1956 and have been thru several cycles. I've worked into
Europe with a two watt 6V6 xmtr during the best cycle and couldn't raise
Eurome with a 4-1000A KW during the worst.
Oh, well, I'll just have to live until the next good sunspot cycle (I'm 78
now, it should hurry along).
