David,
Tom at Hayseed is great to work with. He worked up a complete cap kit for a
restoration I am currently in the middle of. Give him a call. He'll be
happy to help.
I have also previously used multi-section electrolytic caps from guitar amp
parts suppliers, Amplified Parts
<https://www.amplifiedparts.com/search/node/multi%20section%20capacitors>,
for example.
On most of my projects, when there is room, I put replacement caps under
the chassis and leave the (disconnected) multi-section can in place for
looks. Use terminal strips for support for the new caps underneath. If
there is no room underneath I have re-stuffed them, but often it's not easy
to keep the cans looking good, at least in my experience. Replacing the
cans, of course will look and work great, but sometimes you might not want
to put the extra $$ into the set. So it will be up to you how you approach
it.
I hope your project goes well for you.
