[Hammarlund] Politics on the web?

 I don't necessarily disagree with the sentiment in some of these postings, but from my perspective vis a vis a ham radio
forum they ended up exactly where they belong, in my spam folder. They are irrelevant to my interest in this forum.
I will not take a back seat when it comes to our military or patriotism. I spent 35 years in the Dept of Defense as an intelligence
analyst/cryptologist. Unlike most people, my loyalty to this country was verified every 5 years by a polygraph exam. I worked with
all branches of service and the only reason I didn't wear a uniform is because an exemption was requested by the DOD because
I was skilled in a critical language. But I don't come to this site for that...I go to other sites for that.  So Mr. Moderator, I recommendyou issue a cease and desist on this thread.  Please stick to postings on Hammarlund gear that those of us trying to restore, use
tweak, learn the history of the company and the various products they produced.

I completely agree. There actually are place where politics should not
be discussed, no matter how "triggered" the author may be --and amateur
radio forums are definitely one of them.
