[Hammarlund] HX-500 LV choke

thanks to all that provided advice.
Got a new problem I need to track down now... most of the resistors in
the rig are at least 15-20% out of tolerance (that's figuring that most
of them are 10%ers anyways...)
So in working through it, I did about a half dozen replacements, turned
it on and as soon as things started to conduct, I toasted R19 (300 volts
to the plate of V3A - first mixer). It's a 1K 1/4 watt according to the
schematic, but it looks like someone cobbled a really awful solder job
on a replacement component.
So now I'm dead in the water -- gone through the schematic, retraced all
my steps and everything seems to be hooked up correctly with the right
value replacement resistors.
Gotta quit for the day, but any insights from those who have one of
these would be most appreciated.
