Thanks for the info Dave,
That verifies my findings after much head scratching. I did exactly what 
you say, yesterday. After studying the thing a bit more I came to the 
conclusion that the pointers never lined up together on the hash marks 
of the faceplate. I also discovered that they lined up at the end of the 
dials as you state. That is what convinced me that they were correct. I 
did a complete realignment of the receiver moving the dial to line up 
with the appropriate band and it is working better than ever and Im 
pretty sure it wont get any better than it is. The receiver is awesome 
now and I rest knowing that the dial markers are correct.
