[Hammarlund] HQ Receiver Clocks

I have an HQ-110 with a working clock.
The second hand is not connected correctly and just drops to the bottom.

I am not a clock expert but have tried several things to make the second 
hand turn correctly but after a turn or two the second hand catches on the 
minute hand and again drops to the bottom.

It looks like I am missing some of the spacers between hands.  Is there an 
easy way to take the mechanism apart and put it back together?
