[Hammarlund] HQ-129-X Panel Color

What color are the Hammarlund name and the model number? The first couple years (not sure how long, exactly) had red lettering for those (all other lettering was white) and the later ones had everything white. I'd have to look at a few different pics to see if one was a darker gray than the others.

     I have an HQ-129-X with a rather dark gray front panel. 
All the photos I've seen of the receiver show a lighter gray with a definite contrast to the dial bezel and cabinet. On this receiver the panel is nearly as dark as the bezel and cabinet. The receiver was extremely clean when I got it but shows no sign of having been restored.  Did Hammarlund make some receivers with a darker panel or is this a replacement of some sort.  The lettering looks original and is slightly raised.
