All very informative replies..thanks guys. I think I will get both of
them. I haven't seen many of these at the local hamfests in southern
Ontario in the last 20 years. I'll initially get them going in stock
form and go from there and proceed cautiously.
Interesting on the 25 cycle power supply being available back in the
day. Back then, if you were using hydro power from Niagara Falls you
were on 25 cycle in Ontario. Conversion to 60 cycle began in the early
50s apparently..ie.before my time.
