[Hammarlund] HQ 140XA cabinet paint and texture

Hello Glen and other Hammarlund knowledgeable members.

I have an HQ 140XA that is shaping to be pretty good for approximately 60 year piece of radio gear. I need to know the original texture and paint color/shade for the HQ 140XA.

My very nice original HQ 150 has the original paint and it is gray with some texture and no shine. From eyeball comparisons the HQ 15 and HQ 140XA were NEVER the same color or texture. My HQ 140XA appears to have a slight metallic shine to what appears brownish/grayish with a hint of bronze in it. It has never been repainted but shows the years of being subjected to light and other factors. I have removed the nicotine with cleaner but can't really nail down the original color and texture. The front panel is in great shape with only minor scuffs and has the same color front panel as my  HQ150 .

Can you give me some guidance on color and texture of the HQ 14XA cabinet? That would be very helpful and greatly appreciated. Thanks and 73, John, K5PGW
