Hi Bob,
Get those paper caps replaced ASAP.
If the right one lets go, it can over heat the power xfmr among other 
things.
Also, run through the resistors and replace any that are way over 10% 
tolerance.
There is a cap inside the BFO can that should also be checked for leakage.
Love my "120" and "129".

Hi all,.... new to this forum.  Just acquired a Hammerlund  H129X  in 
working order.  Will replace all the caps soon.  Does anyone have an idea 
how to read the serial numbers,..........this one reads 9349.  What pit 
falls should I be aware of concerning this receiver as I restore it.
