[Hammarlund] Preselector suggestion?

Yes, work one JA, and be prepared for a landslide!

I don't normally use the preamp.  It usually stays in bypass mode.

Either the SP-600J (NO X), or the R-390A do quite well.

I don't have issues between any of the modes.

My dipoles are oriented such that I favor the East and West directions.  
My last endeavor with Japan netted somewhere around thirty some odd 
contacts.
