IIRC, the 794 was the SX version covering all of the HF ham bands. The
one in the middle of the rack has a pre-war meter in it, albeit a bit
crazy looking.

Those knobs are aftermarket. The streamlined chickenheads and small
tuning knobs like the 129 used would be correct. Wasn't uncommon to
find them missing, usually all. They looked a lot better than they
worked if you were a real knob twiddler. They were mainly an attempt
to dress up an otherwise-old design and appearance.

You don't see the crystal conversions all that often.
