Its sure hard to beat a HRO-500/LF-10 combo for 5-500KHz. And they look 
great also....just no tubes to cause drift....

Of course most of the better ham rigs now cover 100KHz to 30 MHz

I wonder if a SP-600 is stable enough to use on the weak signal digi modes 
used by the 500KHz semi ham band that you and I are licensed for??
