[Hammarlund] HQ-129x recap

I usually wind up with 2-3 leaky micas in the 120/129. The BFO coupling cap
is increased for better SSB and can be 47-100pf depending upon what point it
affects the AVC and reduces sensitivity.
I use a 120/129/140/150 (I rotate them as the main radio) often in one setup
with a Viking I and like to be able to quickly switch to SSB when some
slopbucketeer is trying to cause problems. Thats when the big amp comes on!

Perhaps I shouldn't call this a 'complete' recap. I only replaced the paper
caps. Do the micas have a problem with aging? I've got a fluke that can
measure the value, but it obviously won't show leakage. I've got an old
IT-28 heathkit, but it needs a 6ax4. If I can't get rid of the offset in
freq it probably won't be a big deal. The radio has the little xtal
calibrator installed so I can at least get it to the nearest 100kc point.

Did you get the caps under the BFO cover? Many miss those.
Check the banspread cap runout, it may not be perfectly centered or someone
messed with the rotor plates.
