panel paint was changed during production, mine looks darker than it does in 
the advertising photos and some contemporary photos on the Internet. I think 
mine is a late receiver, it has all white lettering. It would be interesting 
if anyone had a serial number list, but I suspect that has been lost."

There are 3 different original panels that Im aware of. The earliest has a 
red/orange (take your choice) logo, and then there are 2 all white with 
slightly different lettering. And there is the currently available 
reproduction panel.

Cabinets come in several shades of gray and there was also a short lived 
brown one including the bezel. I call it Machinist Brown as it matches the 
Kennedy machinist tool chests. One of mine is brown.

The 129 I had in HS in LI, NY was a late 1953 model and had a factory 
installed calibrator. I bought it in 56 and it included the bill of sale 
from Harrison Radio in NYC, it was listed on their Sale and Swap bulletin 
board.
