[Hammarlund] Need IF transformer

Hi Dave,
    I could well be the crappy way they embedded caps in the base of the 
xfmr.  I've had a cupl like that.  If you're lucky it's one close to the 
edge of the chassis & you might be able to remove the can & dig out the crap 
around the cap, it'll probably be charred.   Then you can put the proper cap 
underneath.  A few guys on this list have junkers, maybe one can help with a 
replacement, but they sure are a pain in the Axx to remove & replace.  Sorry 
I don't have a parts donor now.
    (I'll send you an off topic post later tonite)  Hope to see you & Joanne 
at RARsfest in a cupla wks.  Gat anything neat that I oughta have?
