   Many audio generators will make 60 kHz.   The catch is that you also need 
a counter or some standard to make sure that you do in fact have 60 KHz, and 
not 57 or some such.   See if you can't find someone who will lend you a 
good audio generator or function generator.   If it doesn't have a built-in 
counter, then borrow one of those too.   If you need a swept signal at that 
frequency, then you will need a function generator with that capability.
