Carl, every 129 I've actually 'seen' with my own eyes has been a
medium/dark gray wrinkle finish. I've seen photos and talked with
folks involving black cabinets. I'd always assumed the black cabinets
were either repaints or possibly early post-war models using up 120
cabinets. But considering the 129 had at least 3 different front panel
paint/font styles, anything is possible.

IMO, if you shoot for something close to your NC-240D, you'll be
close. Mine is a bit darker with a slight sheen.
