That was my first thought too, as breakdown in a coupling cap is going 
to let B+ get on the grid of the next stage and that won't be good.   
You've made good progress, Rick - keep going!   The problem with a lot 
of those old capacitors, both paper and the occasional mica, is that the 
plastics just weren't that good back then and once moisture gets inside, 
you've got a re-capping job ahead.   Also, while most paper caps are 
cylindrical, there are some rectangular types that "look like dominos" 
too, and they'll nearly always need to be replaced.
