The reference mentioned is obviously wrong in the model number.
The SP-600 is a post-WW2 model (1950's) and there was absolutely no
Lend-Lease at that period which was during the Cold War.
The reference must have meant the wartime production of the military
version of the Hammarlund Super Pro. (BC-1004, BC-779 and BC-794, the
differences are the frequency ranges).
Bear in mind that the website referred to is not a radio-oriented
website, it's a general wweapons and military subjects forum so the
contributors are not necessarily experts in wartime radio models...
