I have looked at the bfo output at the g1 grid of the buffer with the
buffer tube removed. Looks just like the output of the bfo oscillator
where it enters the miniature coax. The unit is just as Hammarlund
delivered it to the Air Force. The wave form improves at the plate of
the buffer due to the inductive load. You can see the wave forms at the
above web site.
