Hi, Moe.  I don't have the answer for you on that.  I'd never heard of 
them outsourcing the HQ-129X before.  Interesting.

In case you're ever in need, I wanted to let you know that I stock the 
4-section can-type capacitor for the HQ-129X (as well as other tube 
rigs).  They're brand-new and I also offer complete re-cap kits for 
shot-gunning the entire receiver.
